today was the very first time ive ever tried any kind of pre workout supplement like no-xplode. only supplements ive ever taken were protein and fish oil caps. to start off, im a 200lb male, so the first time i took this, i used 1 1/2 scoops with lots of water thinking my body will get used to it. but i was wrong, i should've went for 2+ scoops because i felt the boost of energy for the first 30min of my workout and it slowly wore away. at this point, i slapped myself for not taking 2 scoops. keep in mind i took this 2 hours prior to workout after i ate a meal
results:
my max bench went up 1 rep more and i have a semi-hard time doing it. im sure if i havent taken no-xplode, i wouldnt have gotten that last rep up on the bench.
for now, i will give this a 4 because "it works" and the price tag emptys my wallet |
