if your read magazines and watch the news you will see that the jump to biofuels and the huge demand for corn to produce ethanol and other clean fuels has raised the price of corn and since that is what is used to feed cows, and milk comes from cows, and milk is used to make whey protein the price has jumped dramatically just like a gallon of milk at safeway has gone up substantially also. This stuff is great and was a great bargain at 48 bucks and is still a decent buy at 70 bucks. The taste is great and it mixes better than any other protein on the market. Some protein won't even mix in my damn blender but this stuff is the real deal. I'm sure the price will go back down eventually......a little. |
